The Allendale Poll Hereford stud was founded in 1949 and now runs a stud herd of 200 breeding females. Allendale regularly introduces new genetics from throughout Australia and overseas to complement and improve its breeding program.

Allendale also holds an annual bull sale on the 3rd Monday in February at  Bordertown.

Breedplan was introduced in 1988.

Allendale maintains very high health standards, is a participant in the Pfizer Star program and is Beef Only in a Beef protected area.
